Big news in Shanghai's bottles and tables clubbing scene. One of Shanghai's most notoriously high profile megaclubs, Myst, has vacated their original location and set up operations in the M2 (Muse 2) venue in Hong Kong Plaza.

Effective January 1, M2 (Hong Kong Plaza) is now Myst. They've transported their staff whole-sale to the new venue, supplanted the old staff, and are forging on ahead with that quality EDM electronic music. Just like that, one of the city's biggest clubs who erstwhile played host to Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Dave Van Buuren, and Martin Jensen alone in 2017 is no more. And the Muse chain is also done. End of an era. (They are, of course, owned by the same holding company so... mainstream clubbing musical chairs, I guess.)
